The Seymour Duncan Signature Esquire is modeled after Seymour’s own 1954 Esquire. The guitar features a lightweight solid ash body, special shaped hard rock maple neck and a custom designed pickup built by Seymour himself. Every aspect of the building of this guitar was personally overseen by Seymour, including the special wiring. The finish on the body is 100 percent nitro lacquer, as is the thin finish on the neck.  

When we got this guitar it had a couple minor chips in the finish on the edges of the body.  We enlisted the talents of Portland Fret Works main man Todd Mylet to repair the finish.  We just got it back and even on close inspection you can’t see where the chips were at all!  That said, this baby is in EXCELLENT condition and comes with hang tags, ashtray bridge cover, certificate of authenticity, and white custom shop hardcase.
